Texsolv Polyester Cord with Loops – Strong, Versatile, and Easy to Use
The Texsolv polyester cord is a continuous string of small, evenly spaced loops that can be threaded through or around different parts of the loom. The loops make it easy to adjust and secure the cord in place using either straight pegs or anchor pegs, depending on your setup and preference.
This looped cord system is designed for flexibility and precision in tie-ups, treadle connections, shafts, counterweights, and warp beams.
Available sizes and their uses
-
U-cord (1/12) – The most commonly used size. Thin and flexible yet incredibly strong, with a breaking strength of 80 kg. Perfect for most standard loom applications such as tie-ups, shaft connections, and lamms.
-
U-cord (1/12, 3-thread) – A slightly finer version of the standard cord, made with three threads for a slimmer profile. Ideal for lightweight looms, smaller tie-ups, or situations where minimal bulk is preferred.
-
Heavy cord (1/20, “beam cord”) – Thicker and stronger, suitable for heavy loads such as counterweight rollers or warp beam aprons. Provides extra durability and stability where additional support is needed.
All Texsolv cords are made from high-quality, low-stretch polyester that ensures long-lasting performance and consistent tension.
